The Truth About Human History

To fully understand and appreciate the destructive path of the Atrocissimus it's vitally important to realize one important fact of human history: It's all wrong.

Humans have trod upon the earth for eons longer than historians know, and human civilizations likewise arose far earlier than is believed. There was organized human civilization hundreds of thousands of years ago, ones with trade and commerce and urban centers we would recognize as ones similar, though smaller, to what the world has today. These earliest civilizations -- which withered away over time due to climatic changes, or were destroyed by invaders, or were simply assimilated by others -- had well-developed religions based upon the worship of the demons.

Of course, the people didn't know these were foul creatures bent on their own torment and destruction, but since the demons had walked with the earliest humans for millennia, these civilizations accepted without question their divinity.

If the demons cum gods said that prisoners of war were to be decapitated by the hundreds for their pleasure, or that one was to sacrifice their newborn in its sacred flames, or to blind themselves as an act of devotion, who were they to deny the will of the gods? As such, there were temples to these creatures scattered all over the inhabited world at the time, which had the effect of spreading their fell influence amongst the later generations.

This is more than just a historical fun fact, though. Because these earlier civilizations existed, the demons -- who are peripatetic by nature, and would establish themselves as a god in a place, stay for a few centuries, then, after their cult had been deeply planted, move on to create havoc and death elsewhere -- were able to pass their evil on for generation after generation.

So what this ultimately means is that the bale influence of the demons has been with us since our earliest days on earth -- indeed, since literally our first steps -- and their foul whispers have almost become part of our very DNA.

No wonder we have such a long history of evil.
