Yes, I know, I haven't been terribly active with my blog or my other social media sites. What can I say? It's summer and, even here at the monastery, we take things more relaxed. The Great Adversary

  In the lowest level of Hell, chained to the throne he so ached to possess, sits Satan, the Great Adversary, the Enemy, the Evil One. He is indeed the Beast with Many Names and has plagued mankind since the beginning of all things.  Once the angel named Lucifer, he was created to bring the light of God's love and wisdom to all humans, especially to those who were suffering most. Together with the legion of angels he commanded, he was to whisper words of encouragement and guidance to those whose hearts were broken. Lucifer was to help heal a lost world. Poem: "Good King Death"

I don't often write poetry.  For one reason, I'm far too busy exposing the truth of the Infestissumam and writing about the foul creatures that lurk in it, seeking the ruin of souls, but also because...well, I'm not really good at poetry. But, for some reason, I felt moved to write this particular little ditty, so please enjoy it since there won't be many poems coming from me!
